Anderson Contractors saved the building owner an amazing 50% even with a 20-year warranty.

The Situation: A phone call came in on a project from a potential client that had worked with a roofer in the past but wanted to bid the current roofing project out to see if their current roofer was giving a fair and accurate estimate on their TPO roof replacement. Instead of taking measurements and merely walking the roof to draw up a bid, Anderson Contractors performed a moisture scan to assess the quality and condition of the roof’s underlayment materials. With that scan, they could see that while the outer roofing required replacement, there was a good moisture-free R30 factor installation present. With that knowledge, the team of Anderson Contractors went to the manufacturer and petitioned for a 20-year warranty with the TPO laid directly over the existing insulation. The manufacturer agreed to this and the warranty on the TPO roof was granted. No additional insulation needed on the project meant considerable cost-savings for the client. Since the underpinnings of the roof were in fine shape, Anderson Contractors out-hustled and outbid our competition. They hadn’t done their due diligence and wanted to scrap the entire roof, insulation and all. As a result, Anderson’s bid was 50%  below the bid submitted by the client’s original roofer on the project. This project yielded the client:
